I have this Wu & I don't know how long it been running, I'll post it in a while when it hopefully finally finishes. As far as I can tell it's be in a Hung State for ??? Long but is progressing now & within 10% of finishing.
BOINC View alerted me to it as being past it's Deadlines by a few Hours already this morning & I couldn't figure out why until after a few more hours I noticed it hadn't progressed any.
So I Stopped BOINC & re-started BOINC again & I think it's going to finish in a few Hours or less because it's progressing again. I'll keep an eye on it to see if it hangs again though.
The Wu hasn't been sent out again yet so I should be able to get it done & Credit for it before it does get sent out again. I checked that Box's Returned Wu's & it's only returned 2 Wu's in the last 2 Days when nornmally it would return 4+ Wu's a day. So that Wu has to have been hung off and on quite a bit for the last few day's I figure ... :) |

Heres the Wu, it doesn't show any abnormal Time, a little higher than usual but nothing like it should probably show for the amount of time it took to run it ... |

I had another Hung Wu for about 5 hours before noticing it on the same Box but got it running again by stopping & starting BOINC.
I also had to Abort this WU on a different Box that had been hung for at least 8 hours. I couldn't get it started again by either stopping & starting BOINC or re-booting the Box so I aborted it.
I know this is off subject but I'm also starting to get concerned about the amount of informatiuon the wu shows about the Hosts, it seems to be so detailed I was expecting it to tell me what room in the house the Box was located in. so far I've had my Box Un-Hidden but I'm probably going to Hide them again as I don't feel comforatable at all having that much information published for all to see. |

I suppose the project team needs extended debug info right now to tackle some of the errors which are popping up. I'd say feel free to hide your computers until this is changed. (if you report a problem you can still provide a link to the WU)

This is the same issue i'm having here.
what i've found is that our WU both have this error:
Reason: Breakpoint Encountered (0x80000003) at address
I believe the the program creates a breakpoint/pause but doesnt know to exit or waiting for something.
can anuone take a look on this?

Same here. My WU has 5 hours of CPU time but it wont get over 4,235% (normaly it should be at 50%).
My system crashed several times (duo to overclocking) with bluescreen, automatic reboot.
I believe the the program creates a breakpoint/pause but doesnt know to exit or waiting for something.
Must be something like that. If BOINC or the Acemd task get killed (by bluescreen etc. ...) they neither continue the work nor they report an error and abort the broken WU. |
