A much better tool to use for GPU utilization measurement in Windows is the TechPowerUp GPUZ tool. It will give you a very good picture of utilization, temperature, fan speed, etc.. Hope that helps.

Hi Boinc is only using between 1 & 2 percent of my GPU for tasks. Hello, If you are using the new built in windows task manager to view your GPU usage you will have to do one or both of these things. In the new windows task manager you can right click on the GPU graph under the performance tab and "change graph to" from "single engine" to "multiple engines." This will show you four graphs of which you can click the arrow next to the name of each graph and change it. If you change one to "compute_0" while running GPUGrid you will see that this is what the application is using. Compute workloads for some reason don't show up on the main GPU usage graph. I hope they address this in a later update. There are however problems with this method. It is a brand new implementation to windows 10 and any changes you make to the graph will not be saved. The preferred method of viewing GPU utilization and other important parameters such as GPU temperature and clockspeed is GPU-Z. This is by far the most used and preferred way everyone uses because of the amount of information this software delivers under the "sensors" tab, all in one nice small package. I hope this helped.

Feel free to Upvote my Feedback Item, so Microsoft can fix Windows 10 Task Manager to properly show GPU Usage. The link is:

Apparently it can only be accessed via the Win10 app. Good job MS.
