It's interesting that you've put the fans such way to the heatsink that they will pull the air from the heatsink. | |

I was wondering too when i mounted them but the Palit Fans are build in the same way, Because they didnt rotate anymore i cant imagine the direction anymore. | |

I dont get more than 70 degress on the GPU Die but your right, perhaps the vram is getting more hot.When the fans push the air through the heatsink's fins (this is the "usual" airflow direction), the air gets hot, and this hot air should cool the VRAM and the VRM's FETs. So I really don't know which direction is better. Maybe this is different when there's more than one of this kind of heatsink in the same box, but in this instance they will heat each other up regardless of the airflow direction of their heatsinks. | |
