Just had an email from Nvidia offering me subject driver. OK for GPUGRID? Answering my own question, I downloaded the new driver (175megs), suspended the running WU, just in case, did the install and resumed the WU. No problems! ____________

I am told that the older cards will see a reduction in performance with the newer (CUDA 5) drivers. That is the GTX200 series. Fermi and Kepler chips (ie GTX400, GTX500 and GTX600) should be fine.

Runtime differences due to the new driver, anyone?

I don't see any differences in the completion time, it seems basically the same. No errors either.

I had real problems with 306.23 (and Windows 7) on my dual GTX295 machine. Lots of dots on my screen, and three computer crashes within 24 hrs. I ended up rollong back to 301.42, and all returned to normal. Rick

I have an SLI 580GTX, i have disabled for GPUGRID why i read that it was better to work on this project and update to 306.23 but tube that will return to 301.42 by that only works in a WU instead of the two WUS that always worked, does anyone it's the same with this version? Greetings

Hello: In the Boinc Data folder. If no create it. You can check if you have the correct cc_config.xml on the correct path with the correct name by: Click on the start button. Type (or copy paste from here) in the search box: notepad c:\ProgramData\BOINC\cc_config.xml and press enter. If you see an empty document, copy the following text and paste it in notepad: <cc_config> <options> <report_results_immediately>1</report_results_immediately> <use_all_gpus> 1 </ use_all_gpus> </options> </cc_config> Then save the file (Save as... and in the bottom of the dialog box select All files instead of Text files). Re-read local configuration file in BOINC manager (it's in the advanced menu).

Hello: In the Boinc Data folder. If no create it. Hello, I got it for order, the fault was in that: <use_all_gpus> 1 </use_all_gpus_> And it should be: <use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus> And all as a whole should be as follows: <cc_config> <options> <report_results_immediately>1</report_results_immediately> <use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus> </options> </cc_config> Greetings.
