I have two GeForce cards, a GTX560 and a 9600GT. Most of my ACEMD2 works abort with "Error while computing", only few runs can until end.

I've created a FAQ on how to restrict work to certain GPUs. In your case, device 0 is GeForce GTX 560 Ti and 1 is GeForce 9600 GT. However, your tasks on device 0 also seem to fail.

What is happening is that tasks are trying to run on one card, then being stopped (Boinc Configuration settings might need changing), and then randomly restarts on either card. When it runs on the 9600GT it eventually fails. So when a task first runs on the GTX560 but then at some stage runs on the 9600GT and fails as a result, it appears that there are also failures from the GTX560. If you just disable the 9600GT as Toni describes, the GTX560 should run fine.

The instructions in the FAQ would ignore his GPU for all projects, which is probably not what he wanted (he mentioned "lighter projects" for the 9600GT). In the 6.13 series of BOINC, which are experimental alpha-test at the moment, it is supposed to be able to disable a GPU for a given project. It doesn't work though. Maybe in the next build.

MarkJ is right: I would like to maintain my 9600GT for Einstein and Seti, it's enough for them. I have 3 monitors so I need two cards, and if next Boinc version allows to force an application to run on a specific card, I'll wait for that version. 6.13 beta is not running well now, but I think it will stable quite soon. Thanks for your help

Thanks for your help You can do that now but it takes some work to do it...1st you must load the Boinc software TWICE into two DIFFERENT directories. Then thru some Boinc settings you can enable each gpu for each Boinc and run two cards on two different projects all the time, without Boinc doing the deciding.
