Just wondering because I've been crunching GPUGRID (PS3) for five days and nothing has appeared on Boincstats yet.
Thanks...

Looks like you may have two accounts in BOINC - and currently you are looking at the other one. Your GPUGRID total shows up at:
http://boincstats.boincstats.com/search/all_projects.php?cpid=101582f630ea88c641427c142bd04a36
and in detail at:
http://boincstats.boincstats.com/stats/boinc_user_graph.php?pr=bo&id=2105178
Another bunch of credits show up at:
http://boincstats.boincstats.com/search/all_projects.php?cpid=fa76a72038e0edf9edbc80b85b6263f0
If as it seems on the face of it both are yours, you'll need to migrate the credits from one to another to get them to show up in one place. Possibly you opened a new account by mistake when starting GPUGRID? That can happen if different email addresses are used, the email addy needs to be the same on all Project Attachments to get unified stats.
Regards

Thanks. Didn't even think about that.
Thats weird. I'm definitely using the same email address on here as I am on SETI. I just tried temporarily changing my email on here and then changing it back to same one used on SETI to see it will "take".
Anyone know how to combine all projects into one "account" on boincstats?
Thanks! |

Just wait for the CPIDs to converge.
Which may be difficult, if this PS3 host is GPUGrid only, and your PC hosts are 'any project except GPUGrid'. |

I'm not sure what "GPUGrid only" and "any project except GPUGrid" means. Are those settings somewhere?
I just compared the Cross-project ID's on my account pages both here and at SETI and they are different even though the email address are exactly the same.
Confused.
Thanks.

A small "how to converge the Cross Project IDs":
1. Make sure the mail addresses and the passwords are the same on all projects.
2. Join the GPUgrid project with your PC, even if you have no cuda-able gpu on it.
3. After joining, you can set the gpugrid project on your PC.
4. Hit the "update" button on some of the projects and also on the gpugrid button. By doing so your boincmgr reads the CPID from your projects and then tells gpugrid to save the CPID value if the boincmgr thinks most of your projects share the same CPID.
Thats it! I hope I've interpreted the boincmgr's behaviour in the right way...

Now that everything is merged, I now understand what you meant. LOL.
I wasn't familiar with how Boinc's Cross-Reference ID behavior worked.
Makes sense now.
Thanks!

Was able to detach the GPUGrid project from the PC and also delete the PC from my account page on here afterwards and the correct (intended) Cross-Reference ID still "sticks", so that is definetly cool. :-) |
